1. When should I schedule my Meet & Greet before my vacation, and how soon will I get a response?
We recommend contacting us at least two weeks before your trip. This ensures ample time to coordinate your Meet & Greet, and arrange any necessary Key Exchange. The preferred method of contact is our online form, or you can email us at caledonkittysitter@gmail.com and we aim to respond within 24 hours for visit requests and general questions.
2. What kitty care services do you offer, and can my kitty stay with you? Do you administer kitty medication?
We provide in-home kitty care services, including feeding, water, litter care, brushing, playtime, and more. Unfortunately, we don't offer boarding services. Yes, we can administer kitty medication as needed.
3. What are your hours, and can I choose a specific time for kitty visits?
Virtual Meet & Greets are scheduled weekdays and weekends between 2 pm - 6 pm. While precise scheduling is not always possible, we offer morning appointments (6 am - 12 pm) and afternoon appointments (12 pm - 6pm). Visits are scheduled as closely as possible, with adjustments if unforeseen situations arise.
4. What is the minimal kitty visits required, and can you visit every other day?
A minimum of one daily visit is required for a visual safety check. Daily visits ensure your kitty's health and prevent mischief. Unfortunately, we don't offer visits every other day.
5. How does the Kitty Consultant get the keys to my property?
We use a lock box for key management or may establish a key pick-up/drop-off system. Alternatively, we offer a key exchange service for a fee.
6. Which areas do you service?
We currently serve Bolton (Caledon).
7. What if my kitty gets sick while in your care and I am away?
Our Kitty Consultant will do our Very best to get in touch with a local vet or drive them if necessary with permission from you to a 24 hour emergency veterinarian. We will treat your kitty as if it was own.
8. When do I pay, and what payment methods do you accept?
Payment is due in full before coming to see your kitty's first visit. Payments can be made in cash, or e-transfer.
9. What are my next steps? How do I order kitty care services?
Schedule a free Meet & Greet in person or on Zoom. Fill out our contact form with the required information for availability. No purchase is necessary for the Meet & Greet.
